Description
Product Description
In-situ electrochemical infrared spectroscopic analysis enables qualitative analysis of the evolving trends in products or intermediates on the electrode surface during electrochemical processes, such as electrocatalytic reactions (e.g., CO2 electroreduction) and charge-discharge cycles in various types of batteries (e.g., lithium-ion, lithium-sulfur batteries). It serves as a crucial tool for studying the mechanism and kinetics of electrochemical reactions.
Product Features
Internal Reflection Mode
- A nanometer-thick gold film is chemically or vacuum deposited onto a single-crystal silicon (Si) substrate, imparting surface-enhanced effects to the nanometer-thick metal film.
- The nanometer-thick gold film serves as a conductive substrate onto which electrocatalysts are drop-coated or electrodeposited, functioning as the working electrode.
- Surface-enhanced infrared spectroscopy yields information about adsorbed products and intermediate states of the electrocatalyst.
Specifications
- The working electrode is made of single-crystal silicon (Si)
- The reference electrode is made of graphite.
- The reference electrode is Ag/AgCl electrode.
- The infrared window is made of single-crystal silicon (Si)
- Equipped with anode and cathode inlet and outlet.
- Volume less than 20ml and needs to be used in conjunction with the corresponding optical path.
Optical table with adjustable incident angle
- Provide continuous variable incident angles and multiple crystal plates for selective control of depth.
- High throughput (over 50% with 45-degree ZnSe crystal) to minimize sampling time and enable detection of components in low concentration complex samples.
- Continuous variable angle range: -30° to 80°.
- Penetration depth ranging from 0.4 to 46μm.
